About Us
We Are Proud of Our Service Projects
Scouting
for food is an activity that Cub Scouts do. We go out into our
neighborhood and put door hangers on people's doors on a Saturday. The
hangers say we're collecting food on the
following Saturday for the Omaha Food Bank . Then we pick up the donated items, count them,
and deliver them to the food bank. We do this to help people
survive who can't afford food right now. Scouts do many projects
during the year that help people very much and this is one of them.
I enjoy this project(Scouting For Food) because it gives me the chance to help others and care for them. I care for people and animals. It makes me extremely happy to know that a family gets to eat because of what I did. I'm very thankful for that.
