Cub Scout Pack 83

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say WELCOME to all the new boys in our Bear Den.  I'm sorry if it takes me a bit to learn all your names, but keep on me and I'll get them...I PROMISE.  Good Luck Cub Scouts.  See you soon!

We had a really great turn-out from our den and that makes me very proud.  We managed to check off some good electives for our Wolf stuff as well as a few Bear electives.  I think everybody showed up for at least a night.   We really had a great weekend.

ADVANCEMENTS! 02/25/2009

Great job finishing all your requirements to earn your Wolf Badges.  I am very proud of all of you.   Also good job with the electives.  I think all of you at least earned a Gold Arrow Point.  Remember, the gold arrow point gets positioned centered below your Wolf badge and all Silver Arrow points go below that in rows of two.  You guys are AWESOME!!!!

Blue And Gold 02/17/2009

Its finally here.   The Blue and Gold Banquet has arrived.   It starts at 6 sharp and Scouts need to be there at 5:45 so we can prepare for the opening ceremony.  Don't forget Wolves are bringing a gallon of milk to share with the Pack.    Is everyone excited to be earning their wolf rank?  I'm very proud of you all!

Starting to get the hang of this and think it might be even more fun than the regular web page!!

As Cub Leaders, we strive to teach our boys that each one is special.  That each one of them can accomplish great things, and ultimately anything that they want.  Moral/Character development at this stage of a youths life is paramount to that childs success.  Scouting gives those boys an opportunity to experience new things and encounter new people.  At the Wolf level, we are just beginning to scratch the surface of our boys potential. But they learn new things everyday, and at the same time, teach us new things everyday. Its an experience I wouldn't pass up for anything.
